The Founders
Scott is an author, songwriter, producer, musician, pastor, and international speaker. Scott moved from Canada to Nashville, TN, in 1986, where he worked in the Christian Music Industry full-time until 1994. Sarah, his wife, was born in India and came to the United States when she was six years old. She became a physical therapist, moved to Nashville, and married Scott in 1993...
Unsatisfied with the direction the Christian Music Industry was headed, Scott and some of his music peers began to seek the Lord in a Thursday night men's prayer gathering. There they were challenged by the words of Jesus in Mathew 25 to begin to "give to those who cannot repay." Scott knew it was time to get beyond "serving God in the way that best served himself" and the result was serving the poor and the lost of downtown Nashville.
In an obscure outreach on the wrong side of town, Scott found what he was looking for; the Kingdom of Heaven was found among the poor. As they continued with more outreaches, everything started to change!
As the outreaches to the poor and the lost grew, so did a vision which evolved into a non-profit ministry that Scott and Sarah co-founded, and presently direct, called Harvest Sound International formally known as Provision International.
Provision has done and continues to do extensive work with Nashville's inner-city community and with children internationally, meeting both physical and spiritual needs. Scott has a vision to mobilize the creative community for compassion and justice and to see a second Renaissance – the rebirth of music and arts for God's glory and for global Harvest. He authored a book from a vision, called Snakes in the Lobby, which has been translated into ten languages and has been instrumental in setting many musicians and artists free from the pitfalls that he endured as a young musician in Nashville.
In 2007, Scott and Sarah founded, a Creative Arts and Ministry Training school that equips and sends musicianaries all over the world. Scott also founded the record label Harvest Sound.
Scott and Sarah travel internationally to speak and teach, empowering many. Sarah has been instrumental in calling people into a greater place of wholeness, healing, and freedom. She has pioneered a healing ministry called "Inside Out" - an innovative holistic approach to bringing health and healing to the body, soul, and spirit using deliverance, inner healing, nutrition and exercise to create an exceptionally balanced and vibrant life. By using biblical foundations, Sarah has also inspired and liberated women and men in creative and prophetic movement/dance for the purpose of releasing healing, freedom and breakthrough individually and corporately.
Scott, Sarah, and their two children Emily and Daniel, live in Franklin, TN. They continue the work of the ministry together as a family.
