"THUNDER CAMP IS THE BEST CAMP!" - JEREMY

It’s true, you’ve probably not heard of anything like this before! In the heart of Nashville, Harvest Sound has been running a creative arts and missions camp called “Thunder Camp” for the past eleven years. Focusing on building authentic friendships, cultivating creativity, and experiencing a missions lifestyle, Thunder Camp is definitely not the ordinary youth camp! 

BUILDING FRIENDSHIPS

Teens apply from all over the world to participate, so there is a variety of cultures and ages that make up Thunder Camp! Because of this, you get to know different types of people that otherwise, you may have never met! Often times, these are the people that become some of your closest friends.

Here at Harvest Sound, we believe in building a strong, healthy, vibrant community. This is a principle that we implement into Thunder Camp and our program for adults, Harvest Sound 21 Day Intensive. Campers come into an atmosphere of encouragement and soon become the encouragers themselves! 

CULTIVATING CREATIVITY

Clap your hands and stomp your feet, enjoy the freedom to release! Throughout the week campers work with their assigned creative teams on different creative projects. It could be dance, song, art, drama, anything! After brainstorming and creating as a team, the whole camp gets together that Friday night to share their own unique expression!  

EXPERIENCING MISSIONS LIFESTYLE

Jesus said to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15). Thunder Camp is raising up and equipping young leaders to be active in their faith by pouring into those younger than themselves and serving the needy in Nashville.
